Dream Lighting’s Light Show in the National Stadium
On the evening of June 18, 2019, "Making Dreams - Bird's Nest", the large audiovisual light show was unveiled at the National Stadium (known as Bird's Nest), showing the magnificent history of the development of new China in the form of sound, light and shadow.
With more than 4,000 lights, the Bird's Nest has become the brightest nighttime landmark in Beijing this summer. The newly launched light and shadow show presents the magnificent history of the development of new China in the form of sound, light and shadow, allowing the public to "read the motherland from light and shadow, and relive history in the audio-visual".
In the evening, along with the dazzling and leaping lights lighting up the night sky of the Bird's Nest, beautiful music melodies rang through the ears. The first chapter shows the miserable years of desolation and depression of gray; the second chapter shows the harmony and upward growth of new green; the third chapter lights up the blue light of high speed development; the fourth chapter shows the prosperity of the motherland and people's well-being of the hot red. The newly introduced smoke clouds bring more mysterious effects to the scene, presenting images of great beauty and mountains on the light screen.
As the largest stadium audio-visual light show in China, the volume and equipment used in the "Dream - Bird's Nest" project are rare in the international arena. 99% of the lighting equipment used in the audiovisual light show is made in China, including holographic projectors, stage lights, LED light source lights, lifting props, laser lights and so on.
The large audiovisual light show start from June 18 and last until the end of October, with four performances from 19:30 to 21:30 every night in circulation. As an additional content of the bird's nest night tourism line, visitors can enjoy the bird's nest night by a cheap tour ticket.
This kind of large audiovisual light show with various contents is generally accepted by the public, which is not only environmentally friendly and cost-controllable, but also further increases the cultural connotation.
