The "2017 CISD National Senior Choreography Talent Training Course" was held in the beautiful seaside city of Yantai from 24 July to 30 July, 2017. The course was officially opened after a speech by President Cao Lin of the China Institute of Dance and Beauty.
There were 60 outstanding professionals selected from various professional institutions across the country for further study. The professional institutions include professional arts and cultural troupes, performing institutions, higher education institutions, mass cultural organisations, cultural enterprises and other professional institutions.
This training course is jointly organised by the China Stage Art Society and the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture, aiming to train a group of high-level, professional and comprehensive choreographic design professionals to contribute to the prosperity of China's arts. During the 7-day training, experts from various professional committees of the China Stage Art Society were organised as lecturers. The lectures were mainly on choreography design and related contents, but also included cultural planning, visual creativity, new media art, new stage technology and extended topics such as operation management and stage safety.
All lighting equipment for the opening ceremony of the "2017 CISD National Senior Choreography Talent Training Course" was provided by Dream Lighting.
