Introduction
The Hunan opera "Zuo Gong Liu" tells the legendary life of Zuo Zongtang, a famous general in the late Qing Dynasty, showing his heroic spirit of fighting for the recovery of Xinjiang and devoting himself to the country.
The story begins with Zuo Zongtang's lofty ambitions. Although he was not prominent at the young age, he always cared about his country and was determined to protect the territory. At the critical moment of the country, Zuo Zongtang advocated sending troops to Xinjiang, withstood the heavy pressure from inside and outside the court, and vowed to recover the lost territory. He ran around to raise military funds and worked closely with Hu Xueyan to gain resources and support. Facing the powerful enemy in Xinjiang, Zuo Zongtang led the Hunan Army to carry the coffin and embark on the difficult road to recover Xinjiang. In the yellow sand and bloody battles, he relied on his firm belief and fearless courage to advance the front step by step, and finally successfully recovered Yili and brought Xinjiang back into the territory of the motherland.
