Hello everyone, welcome to Dream Lighting, the professional manufacturer and supplier of Moving lights.
Here, we talk about trouble-shooting for the lamps that can’t light up.
The first step is to check whether the bulb is normal or not.

Naked eye observation at the bulbs to check if have any signs of breakage and blackening, then check if have electricity of voltage 220v to the rectifier.
Second step, we need to detect the voltage of the front panel. Put the digital multimeter to dc, light up the bulb, measure the voltage of line 3 and line 4. If the value of the digital multimeter is 3.9 volts, proofs that the front panel is good.
If the value is not around 3.9 volts, we need to check whether the temperature control is normal or not.

Third step, check temperature control. We turn the digital multimeter to the level of beep to measure the temperature control. If the connection is through, means that the temperature control is good. If not, we need to replace the front panel.

Fourth step, check electronic rectifier. We disconnect the input of trigger, turn the digital multimeter to AC, light up the bulb. If the voltage can stay at 300 volts more or less for two seconds and the bulb still lighting as normal, we need to replace the electronic trigger.
If the voltage is not around 300 volts, we need to replace the electronic ballast.

The above is about maintenance for the lamp that cannot work.
See you next time
