On the evening of September 15th, the national intangible cultural heritage drama - the newly edited large-scale Guizhou opera "Qin Niang Mei" was performed successfully in the theater of Guizhou International Conference Center. This is the first complete performance of the play since 1960. This performance is not only a tribute to the classics, but also an innovation and inheritance of Guizhou opera, a national intangible cultural heritage drama.

The Qian Opera "Qin Niangmei" is edited from the Dong minority story "Zhu Lang & Niang Mei". It tells the story of Niang Mei and Zhu Lang who were in love and fled to Guandong village to resist the old rule of "cousin marriage". Unfortunately, they escaped from the tiger's mouth and fell into the wolf's den. The rich man Yin Yi designed to kill Zhu Lang in order to occupy Niang Mei. The resolute Niang Mei finally avenged for her love. This tragic love story is called the Dong minority version of "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai".

The new version of "Qin Niang Mei" has made comprehensive innovations in character images, music, stage design, etc., on the basis of retaining the original storyline. In particular, the stage design uses a 360-degree rotating stage and multi-level lighting effects, presenting the audience with an artistic feast that emphasizes both vision and audio. In addition, a large number of Dong minority cultural elements, such as Dong songs and Dong festivals, are incorporated into the play, making the whole play full of rich ethnic customs.

Stage lighting is the "soul" of the entire play. According to the ups and downs of the plot of "Qin Niangmei", the lighting designer uses the lighting to portray and touch the characters' hearts, restore the time points, environment points, and atmosphere points, and create a three-dimensional sense of shape and space.
